DSC Athletes at Canadian Swimming Trials

The Dorval Swim Club is proud to announce the participation of five athletes at the 2023 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials in Toronto, Ontario, at the Pan Am Sports Centre. From March 28th to April 2nd, 2023, the swimmers competed for a spot on the Canadian National Team.

Brandon Adams had particularly successful swims, placing fifth in the 50 back and 100 back. Ella Cosgrove, meanwhile, dominated the field, winning gold medals in the 200 free and 200 back, and bronze in the 400 and 800 free, in addition to qualifying for the Canadian World Junior Team for the upcoming trip to Israel in August.

Tori Meklensek competed in the 400 free, placing 12th, while Mégane Crévier competed in her first senior national event swimming the 50 fly. Maya Holt was also a highlight of the Trials, placing second in the Junior final of the 50 breast.

The Dorval Swim Club is extremely proud of the achievements of all five swimmers, and wishes them the best of luck as they continue to strive for success in the upcoming season. The club is confident that the swimmers will continue to challenge themselves and reach the highest levels.
